There were risk assessments for Apollo. And, as we are all aware, various
risk assessments for Space Shuttle missions.

Has a quantitative risk assessment of a Soyuz mission been published?

RK,

Jim Oberg might have something. I know he did some work for NASA doing
risk assessments of Soyuz quite a bit ago. I have not read anything
particularly quantitiative or comparitive, but Mr. Oberg did publish an
interesting essay of some of Soyuz issues he uncovered while doing that
work. One I recall, was a landing uncomfortably near a school house.

My study was for landing reliability only -- and maybe it's
time to post the results on my website. It's dated, but reliability
hasn't gotten any better in the last ten years.
