Anyone have a link or information to an earlier shuttle flight that suffered
some sort of significant impact and resultant re-entry burn through that
left a hole about the size of a basketball around an aft landing gear door?
I remember reading an article that included a photo taken when the shuttle
was being serviced after flight that showed a pretty nasty hole from
re-entry burn-through after tiles that got knocked off the orbiter.
