Here's a summary of a three-part series on the problems.

What a crap web site this is for us blind folk. Its got a whackingly huge
list of links, several links to bits of the stary, and no apparent link to
read all the story in one go. Completely unusable unless you are very very
very patient and do not mind repetitive strain injury operating cursor keys.

Hi Brian,
I'm sorry that the site is uncomfortable for you. Let me explain to
the other readers: the huge list of links is on the right-hand side
and is a service to readers.
There is no "one story to read in one go." This is a very complex
subject, and is divided into three parts. The link to this story is to
a synopsis introduction, which gives a summary of the main topics in
each of the three stories, plus a link to each story. That's a fairly
standard American layout thing to do.
I myself am in physical therapy for carpal tunnel and arthritic damage
in my wrists, and the site doesn't give me problems. You don't have to
click on the links in each of the three main stories. They are simply
there to provide readers a link to the information cited, the primary
source, so that they can go review the entire document (some are huge)
if they want more than the quoted subject.
You should be able to do it in four clicks: click on the link here.
Once at the summary story, click on the shaded area that refers to
Part I. Part I has a link in it to Part 2. Part 2 has a link to Part
3.
Four clicks to get the synopsis and the entire series, for anyone
who's interested in the topic.
Best,
P.

Great, if you've got normal eye sight. However...

As I remember Brian uses some form of screen reader and has to step
through links one by one listening to what they say.

Anthony, I'm so sorry to hear this. I would suggest that someone
tender a complaint to the publication to be forwarded to their
programmers.
