NASA PAO overnight mentioned that management are considering a number of
measures to increase the input from Shuttle to the Station in case of an
extended stand down of the shuttles.
For consideration:
-Greater station reboost by shuttle
-O2 replenishing of Quest tanks.
(note that today they were working on N2 refilling from shuttle to Quest).
-More water to station from shuttle
And something odd. Prior to docking, Eileen Collins demonstrated how closed
ziplok bags inflate as the pressure of shuttle went from 14.7 to 14.2.
Does this mean that they lowered the station's pressure to 14.2 due to lack of
supllies ?
(why else would shuttle lower its pressure to 14.2 the day of docking ?)
